Projects update

The Hat, inspired by Lisagh's, began as this.

Then, with much moral and practical support from Lisagh, the next iteration looked like this.

The brim called for topstitching. I blew through many brain cells on this step, concentrating so hard the veins on my temples were throbbing. But, the stitching came out pretty even. However, the jury is still out as to the overall complete effect:

Next project will be a skirt made from fabric purchased online. The skirt pattern is one I found on Tarilyn's great blog.
